Problem
A remarketing campaign needed a video version of every static graphic: three formats (1:1, 4:5, 9:16), three messages, nine languages. 81 videos in total. Manual editing meant days of work and the certainty that every copy change would go back into every file separately.
What I built
A script reads the PSD files (photo, logo and text layers), the headlines from a sheet and the logo in every language, builds 81 compositions in After Effects, renders them and encodes them to MP4 with ffmpeg. Every animation ends on a frame identical to the static graphic, and a quality check compares it with the original automatically before rendering.
Result
81 videos from one command, a quarter of an hour of rendering instead of days of editing. A copy change is a re-run, not a trip back into After Effects. Every video checked automatically: length, loop and match with the static graphic. The next campaign is a new PSD and sheet, nothing else changes.
How it works
Headline lines slide in from behind masks, the photo breathes slightly, the logo enters with a counter. Headlines with accents and of different lengths scale themselves to the format margins.
