A Photoshop plugin that builds marketplace product graphics on its own

One file with product data in, a complete set of graphics for five platforms in every colour and language out.

Role author: concept, code, team rolloutStack Photoshop UXP (JavaScript), XLSX as input, Claude CodeStatus version 1.2.0, used by the whole 4-person team

Problem

Hundreds of product graphics for Amazon A+, Allegro, B2B, web and YouTube thumbnails. Each made by hand, separately per colour and per language. A full set for one product took one to three days, and every data change meant going back into every file.

What I built

The plugin reads an input file (name, colours, EANs, translations), creates the folder structure and PSD files with artboards for each platform, and exports JPGs per colour and per language. It comes with a skill that prepares the input from the brief, so the designer gets ready data instead of retyping it from an email.

Result

A complete product set in at most a day, often much less, instead of one to three days. No errors in file names or folder structure, files compressed on export, and an export report that lets anyone return to any project. The whole team uses it.

How it works

One artboard per platform, groups per colour, text layers per language. The plugin swaps the data; the designer only touches what really needs a hand.
